Just too many things have been happening and are still happening to us in this country. Our individual lives are made of stories: stories of courage and survival that needs to be told in order to inspire and build the lives of others. But we keep too many things to ourselves. We don’t share our intimate ideas and approach to issues. No one knows about how we solved or are solving life changing problems at home, on the road and at work on daily basis. Rather than share, we remain burdened and bottled up, in the believe that we may be alone with our situation in the whole wide world.
Whereas, the mere telling of our stories is a very good way towards personal healing and working towards feeling good about ourselves, despite all odds. And with so much challenges all around us, sharing stories about how we are coping and succeeding can only be a source of encouragement to others.
Welcome to our site. It is an undertaking that is to enable anyone tell a personal story of life and living in Nigeria by Nigerians and anyone: even foreigners who have anything to do with us. In order to be completely truthful, some stories are better told publicly without the mention of personal names. Anonymous, but truthful stories are therefore also very much welcome. Everyone should feel free to share life fulfilling stories.
