We in Nigeria most commonly download what other societies and nations have added to the Internet. Very rarely do we UPLOAD our feelings, our ideas and all about ourselves for the purposes of informing and influencing how the rest of the world relates with us. This is a very small step towards adding Nigerian content to the Internet.

About Dr. Akin FAPOHUNDA
Aflon’s Managing Director is Dr. Akin FAPOHUNDA. An alumnus of Ilesa Grammar School (1965 to 1970), University of Ibadan (1972-1975 and 1983-1986) and the University of Wisconsin at Madison (1978-1980); he served variously at the Federal Ministry of Agriculture (1976-1988), the Raw Materials Research & Development Council (1989-1991), the Director; Planning Research & Data Bank: National Agricultural Land Development Authority(1992-1999) and finally as the Director; Space Science Office in the Office of the Secretary to the Federal Government of the Federation, from where he Voluntarily Retired in December, 2000.
Dr Fapohunda is the proprietor of Aflon Digital Academy, Aflon Digital College and Aflon Digital Institute all operational on a six (6) hectares campus at Kuje, Abuja. He is also a Visiting Senior Lecturer in Multimedia Technology and Digital Image Processing at Bingham University, Karu, Abuja; and an IT Adviser to the Planning Group of Elizade University, Ilara-Mokin, Ondo State.
He was first elected in 2009 and re-elected in 2011 as the representative of the Nigerian Computer Society (NCS) into the Computer Professionals (Registration Council of Nigeria); where he is the Chairman of the Committee to fast track the review of the IT Curriculum at all levels of the Nigerian educational system. Dr Akin Fapohunda was in December, 2013 elected a Professional Fellow of the Nigeria Computer Society.
